The financial system was designed to prioritize investors’ financial returns, often at the expense of others.

What we are doing
Demonstrating a new path for investing in America’s just future
Investors have an opportunity to help correct these wrongs. Working in collaboration with a diverse set of leaders, we are using business models and investment capital to improve economic opportunity and wellbeing for all people, particularly within Black, Indigenous and Latinx communities.
1. Delivering Quality Jobs
We uplift strategies and systems that improve near-term income and profit sharing, provide paid training and opportunity, increase accessible employee benefits, and center agency, well-being, and dignity in the workplace.
2. Building Wealth
We look beyond traditional finance structures to support innovative strategies that help Black, Indigenous, and Latinx households build wealth and self-determination through business, worker, and home ownership.
3. Taking Collective Action to Shift Power
We work alongside values-aligned investors, community leaders, and asset managers to address the root causes of inequality through action and policy change.
Unlock
Ownership Fund
Wealth inequality and worker disengagement are increasing. The Unlock Ownership Pilot Fund invests in two proven paths to growing household wealth, while also increasing well-being: home ownership and employee ownership. We act with hope and urgency for a better future for us all.
